He was in the Military service in King Phillips War.
The Chase families In these locality are largely, if not all, decended
from Aquila Chase, who with his brother, Thomas, arrived in this country
from England, probably in the year 1639, and settled in Hampton, New
Hapmshire. The Chase History compiled byJohn Carroll Chase and George
Walter Chamberlain stated: Various traditions are extant about the date
and manner of their arrival in this country, but they are only traditions
with little likelihood of ever being anything else dueto the lack of
preservation, or later loss, of the shipping lists of that period.
However, as early as June 1640 there is record that there, among others,
received grantee of land (house)lots) in Hampton, six acres constituting
such lots.
Thomas married on 2 Aug 1714.
Thomas next married on 22 Nov 1677.
