Lois Smith

  General Notes:

Note: Said her father was an Indian who was the Captain of an East India
Co.vessel. He sailed away one day never to be seen again. The story goes
that her mother died of a broken heart, and a stranger took pity on Lois
and brought her to Maine.

Lois married Isaac Chase, son of Eleazor Chase and Janet Elder. (Isaac Chase was born on 15 Dec 1758 in Windham, ME and died on 12 Nov 1840 in Standish, Cumberland, Maine.)
